IT Disaster Recovery:
Workplace Relocation
If a disaster makes your own premises unusable or inaccessible, we relocate your Essential Users to conveniently located, high-quality offices, which are fully-equipped and furnished. Your contract with RescueIT includes access to hundreds of these alternative office premises throughout the UK .
Reception, mail-handling, voicemail and telephone answering services are all included. There is also access to fax and photocopying facilities, meeting rooms, conference rooms, video-conferencing, secretarial and other services.
Replacement and re-instatement of ICT equipment
We re-instate your systems at the alternative premises at no additional cost. At the end of the re-location period, normally three months, your systems are also transported to and re-instated at your own premises, again at no additional cost.
Communications Links/Internet Access
All recovery premises have high-speed, secure, managed internet service (E1) and ISDN lines to desktops. LANs are CAT 5 cabled. WANs are leased lines, ISDN or Internet. The minimum broadband connection at many of these offices is a 512Kbps connection, which can be readily upgraded to 1Mb or 2Mb if required. Optional VPN services are also available.
Telephone redirection
New phone numbers and DDI lines will be allocated to you on arrival, so that incoming phone calls can quickly be re-directed to your new offices. A switchboard service is also included.
