OLB Service Description

OLB works remotely either through your existing internet connection or through a dedicated point-to-point line to the purpose-built Network Operations Centre (NOC).

Following the initial installation, OLB carries out an automatic data backup of any changed or new data to network storage devices located within the NOC. This activity is carried out automatically every day and OLB provides a flexible backup scheduler for daily, weekly, monthly and yearly data sets.

The time taken to back up your data is kept to a minimum as OLB utilises the latest compression techniques such as Delta Blocking and Send Once technologies. OLB can operate over a minimum 14.4k modem dial-up connection, ISDN, Broadband, or fixed link circuits to provide true location-independent data storage and backup.

OLB includes 24x7 monitoring and alert by the support system, with full escalation procedures, any event being logged and fully detailed within the reporting database. The on-line administrative interface is intuitive to use, enabling you to quickly restore single or multiple files as and when needed.
